Ultrasound lifting (HIFU)

In ultra­sound lif­ting, focu­sed sound ener­gy is con­cen­tra­ted at a defi­ned depth in the tis­sue. Point-shaped zones of heat are crea­ted the­re, lea­ding to con­trac­tion of the con­nec­ti­ve tis­sue and sub­se­quent­ly to new col­la­gen formation.

Appli­ca­ti­on

The jaw­li­ne, cheeks, neck and décol­le­té are trea­ted whe­re sla­cke­ning is begin­ning. The skin sur­face remains unin­ju­red, so the­re is no downtime.

Good to know

The pro­ce­du­re works for mild to mode­ra­te sla­cke­ning. Whe­re the­re is alre­a­dy mark­ed excess skin, a sur­gi­cal lift is the more honest approach. The result appears over two to three months and lasts around a year.
