The Procedure at a Glance
Breast augmentation may be appropriate for patients with a small bust, a desire for greater fullness or a more balanced silhouette, volume loss following pregnancy or weight changes, or asymmetry. The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia and takes one to two hours. It involves the individual selection of high-quality implants and an anatomically tailored incision placement, such as along the inframammary fold. Following surgery, one to two weeks of reduced activity and four to six weeks without sport are recommended. A supportive bra is advised for several weeks, and the final result becomes visible after a few months.
Implants or Fat Transfer?
The decision between implants and autologous fat depends on several factors: individual skin quality, existing breast tissue, the desired volume increase, and personal anatomy. Implants may be the better option when there is limited natural tissue available. Fat transfer is well suited for gentle contouring and correcting asymmetries. In some cases, we recommend a combination of both.
What Influences the Choice of Implant
The shape, size, projection, and material of an implant must suit the patient's body structure, skin elasticity, and lifestyle. This is always an individual decision. Much like a well-fitting pair of shoes, the aim is not only to look good — above all, the result needs to feel comfortable in the long term. Our goal is your lasting satisfaction. Health and safety are always our highest priority.
The Role of Skin Quality, Elasticity, and Contour
The condition of the skin is central to planning: is it elastic enough to support an implant? Are there stretch marks, areas of volume loss, or early signs of sagging? In such cases, additional skin tightening or a combination of implant and fat transfer may be an option for creating more harmonious transitions.
Breast Lift Without Implants
Enlargement is not always the objective. After pregnancy, weight changes, or with age, the breast can descend without a significant loss of volume. A breast lift without implants allows us to raise and reshape the breast and restore its natural contour. Autologous fat can serve as an alternative to implants. Scarring is an inevitable part of any surgical procedure; how pronounced it is depends primarily on individual predisposition. Treatments such as PRP or laser therapy can improve the appearance of scars in many cases.

Individual Consultation: The Most Important Part of the Process
Breast augmentation is a considered, personal decision. That is why we take the time for a detailed consultation in which we discuss your wishes, the medical possibilities and their limits, alternatives, risks, and long-term considerations. We will also openly advise against a procedure if it is not appropriate, if it is unlikely to meet your expectations, or if another approach would be better suited.
