The jaw­li­ne is the con­tour of the lower jaw from the chin to the jaw ang­le. A cle­ar­ly defi­ned jaw­li­ne is regard­ed as a fea­ture of a youthful face becau­se it visi­bly sepa­ra­tes face and neck.

Suf­fi­ci­ent skin firm­ness is a pre­re­qui­si­te. Whe­re a lot of tis­sue alre­a­dy hangs over the jaw mar­gin, fil­ler alo­ne can­not crea­te a sharp line. Tigh­tening pro­ce­du­res or sur­gery are then the more honest recommendation.
