Hydradermabrasion is a further development of microdermabrasion that uses fluid instead of crystals. In a jet peel, a mixture of saline solution and air is directed onto the skin at high pressure and high speed.
Application
The fine jet loosens dead skin cells, cleanses the pores and can dislodge clogged comedones. Active ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins or antioxidants can then be delivered into the upper layers of the skin without needles. The method suits dull, blemish-prone or dry skin and works well as a refreshing treatment before special occasions.
Good to know
The treatment is almost painless, takes around 30 to 60 minutes and leaves at most some brief redness. The effect is mainly nourishing and refining; deep wrinkles or scars are not corrected. Compared with microdermabrasion it is considered gentler and is therefore also suitable for more sensitive skin.
