Hyaluronic acid

Hyalu­ro­nic acid is a mole­cu­le pro­du­ced by the body its­elf that binds water and gives con­nec­ti­ve tis­sue volu­me and firm­ness. Over the years its con­cen­tra­ti­on in the skin decrea­ses and the face loses con­tour. As a fil­ler, hyalu­ro­nic acid is used in cross-lin­ked form so that it stays in place for longer.

Appli­ca­ti­on

Depen­ding on the degree of cross-lin­king, a pro­duct suits dif­fe­rent tasks: fine gels for super­fi­ci­al lines and lips, firm­er gels for buil­ding up the cheeks, chin and jaw­li­ne. Naso­la­bi­al folds and mario­net­te lines are also eve­ned out with it.

Good to know

The result is visi­ble imme­dia­te­ly. Depen­ding on the pro­duct and the area it lasts six to eigh­te­en months, after which the sub­s­tance is bro­ken down. One advan­ta­ge over other fil­ling mate­ri­als: hyalu­ro­nic acid can be dis­sol­ved again in a tar­ge­ted way using the enzy­me hyaluronidase.
