Crow’s feet (periorbital lines)

Crow’s feet are the fine lines that fan out from the outer corner of the eye. They are caused by the ring-shaped muscle around the eye, which contracts when we laugh and blink.

Application

Small amounts of botulinum toxin relax the outer part of the muscle and soften the lines without taking away expression. With very dry, thin skin, skin boosters or mesotherapy complement the treatment because they improve skin quality.

Good to know

Making the lines disappear entirely is not the goal, and would not look natural. Only the lateral part of the muscle is treated so that eye closure and a genuine smile are preserved.
