Prof­hi­lo® is an injec­ta­ble hyalu­ro­nic acid tre­at­ment for so-cal­led bio­re­mo­del­ling – in other words, for impro­ving skin qua­li­ty and skin ela­s­ti­ci­ty wit­hout brin­ging the typi­cal “volu­me signals” of clas­sic fil­lers to the fore. What makes it spe­cial is the NAHYCO® tech­no­lo­gy: it forms hybrid com­ple­xes of high and low mole­cu­lar weight hyalu­ro­nic acid, which spread over a lar­ge area within the skin and can have a sti­mu­la­ting effect on col­la­gen and elas­tin. In prac­ti­ce, Prof­hi­lo® is often used on the face and neck to address fine crepey lines, dimi­nis­hing firm­ness and a tired-loo­king com­ple­xi­on – with a natu­ral, “under­sta­ted” finish. A com­mon approach is to tre­at defi­ned bio-aes­the­tic points (BAP tech­ni­que), which allow wide-ran­ging dif­fu­si­on and thus achie­ve a good effect across the area with only a few injec­tion points. The pro­to­col is stream­li­ned and the­re is litt­le down­ti­me – attrac­ti­ve for pati­ents who are loo­king for visi­ble fresh­ness and resi­li­ence but do not want any increase in volu­me. Prof­hi­lo® can be inte­gra­ted extre­me­ly well into com­bi­na­ti­on con­cepts, for exam­p­le with ener­gy-based pro­ce­du­res or che­mi­cal peels, pro­vi­ded the indi­vi­du­al indi­ca­ti­on and the timing are right. For the prac­ti­ce, Prof­hi­lo® thus offers a much sought-after opti­on bet­ween skin­ca­re and clas­sic volu­mi­sing fil­lers: skin-qua­li­ty-enhan­cing, natu­ral-loo­king and with a clear metho­do­lo­gy defi­ned by the manu­fac­tu­rer that sup­ports con­sis­tent results.
