At Allergan Aesthetics‘ Skinvive launch event, Lia Georgouli, MD took on the special role of co-host, a task that combines moderation, medical expertise and live communication. The evening was all about skin quality, modern biostimulation and the latest treatment concepts in aesthetics.
Skin quality as the foundation of modern aesthetics
In her presentation, our head physician focused on the topic of skin quality, an area that has become one of the most important focal points in aesthetic dermatology in recent years. We now know that an aesthetic treatment can only be as good as the skin it is applied to.
This is why a holistic approach is becoming increasingly important. In addition to structure, volume and contour, the quality of the skin, i.e. glow, evenness, hydration, elasticity and texture, is a key factor for a natural, youthful and healthy appearance.
AA Signature™: The Skin360° concept for skin quality
Another focus of my presentation was the AA Signature™ Skin360° concept from Allergan. This concept combines the findings of modern skin science with individualized treatment strategies that go beyond traditional filler treatments.
With Skin360°, Allergan pursues a comprehensive approach that views the skin as a dynamic organ whose quality can be improved through targeted stimulation, hydration and structural support. The concept is particularly valuable in the daily work at the Swiss Derma Clinic, where we always treat holistically, evidence-based and on a patient-specific basis.
Moderation & Live Injection: The connection between stage and audience
While our colleague Dr. Marwa Safar conducted the live injection session, our Lia Georgouli, MD took on the role of liaison between injector and audience.
That meant:
- to explain the treatment steps to the audience in an understandable way
- explain the medical background
- Passing on questions from the audience directly
- manage the interaction between theory and practice
These live demonstrations are always a highlight because they show how modern concepts – such as Skin Quality Optimization – are applied in the real treatment situation. For many participants, it is precisely this combination of knowledge, live practice and Q&A that is the most valuable part of the event.
Conclusion: An inspiring evening full of skin longevity & innovation
The Skinvive Launch has once again shown how important the exchange between experts is and how much the aesthetics industry is evolving. At the Swiss Derma Clinic, it is particularly important to us to make these innovations tangible and at the same time to emphasize the safety and naturalness of each treatment.
For the Swiss Derma Clinic, this evening was not just an event, but a confirmation that our focus on skin longevity, biostimulation and the highest treatment standards is absolutely in keeping with the times.
Congratulations to our Chief Medical Officer Lia Georgouli, MD for her excellent professional contribution and leadership in modern skin quality-focused dermatology!
