Swiss Derma Clinic uses the very latest techniques for the surgical removal of tumours and skin changes as well as to treat skin cancer. All procedures meet the highest standards of dermatosurgery. Treatment and care are delivered by our trained team. We use the following methods:

Curettage and electrodesiccation, in which tumour tissue is removed mechanically
Laser surgery, in which diseased tissue is removed with a laser beam
Surgical removal, in which the tumour is excised and the wound sutured
Micrographically controlled surgery (Mohs surgery), in which malignant tumours are accurately removed using microscopic control

Tumours or skin changes are removed with local anaesthetic. Malignant tumours include spinaliomas, basal cell carcinomas and melanomas. Benign tumours include warts, lipomas, cysts and moles. The histological analysis of removed tissue takes place in a special dermatohistopathology laboratory.
