This procedure combines two principles: fine needles penetrate to a defined depth and release radiofrequency energy there as heat. The stimulus is therefore created specifically in the dermis, not at the surface.
Application
It treats slack skin on the cheeks, jawline and neck, and also acne scars and large pores. Since the surface is largely spared, the procedure is also suitable for darker skin types.
Good to know
Three sessions four to six weeks apart are usual. The result develops over three to six months, because building collagen takes time. The skin is usually red for one to two days.
