Microneedling

In micro­need­ling, the skin is punc­tu­red at clo­se­ly spa­ced points with very fine need­les. The tiny chan­nels trig­ger a con­trol­led repair pro­cess during which new col­la­gen is formed.

Appli­ca­ti­on

The pro­ce­du­re is used for acne scars, lar­ge pores, fine lines and uneven skin tex­tu­re, and also for stretch marks. Acti­ve sub­s­tances are often appli­ed after­wards, as they are absor­bed bet­ter through the ope­ned barrier.

Good to know

Medi­cal devices work with an adjus­ta­ble pene­tra­ti­on depth and ste­ri­le sin­gle-use heads. After the tre­at­ment the skin is red for one to three days. Con­sis­tent sun pro­tec­tion after­wards is essen­ti­al, other­wi­se pig­ment spots may follow.
