How the treatment works
As we age, our skin structure changes—both on the surface and in the deeper layers. Collagen fibres decrease and their architecture becomes less organised. Elastin declines. The skin retains less moisture, becomes thinner and more fragile. Sunekos® is designed to counteract these processes.
★ The combination of high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid and amino acids stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin—supporting the skin’s structural network in both vertical and horizontal orientation. This helps improve density and firmness.
★ At the same time, the skin binds more moisture. The non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid remains in the tissue for around two weeks. During this time, it acts as a biological signal for renewal and is then fully broken down.
★ Sunekos® also supports rejuvenation at a cellular level: melanocytes and keratinocytes work more harmoniously, the complexion appears more even, and dark circles and pigmentation irregularities can visibly improve.
★ For body indications, we use this skin booster to support tightening, improve the appearance of stretch marks and target cellulite.
Particularly suitable for delicate, demanding areas
These include in particular:
Eye area: lower lids, upper lids, and—depending on findings—tear trough and crow’s feet.
We place the product very superficially, just beneath the uppermost skin layer. Unlike classic dermal fillers, we can treat close to the lash line and up to the eyebrow. Medical expertise and experience are essential. Dark circles—often difficult to treat with other methods—may also improve.
Mouth area: fine “smoker’s lines” and crepey texture.
Sunekos® influences the skin’s structure, leading to subtle smoothing.
Neck and décolleté:
This is a region where results are often particularly convincing. After just a few sessions, the skin typically looks more even and refreshed.
Hands:
For hand rejuvenation when the skin is lax and tendons or veins become more visible.
In addition, we use Sunekos® over larger areas such as the cheeks (for crepey lines and areas that appear “collapsed”) and the forehead.
The injection procedure
First, the skin is cleansed and disinfected. We then start the treatment. Injection points—often arranged in rows—are marked. Depending on the area, we use individual dosing with very small amounts, often around 0.05 ml per injection point. If needed, we can apply a numbing cream beforehand.
Immediately after treatment, small raised bumps (“wheals”) can appear at the injection points. These typically settle completely within a few hours, as the fluid hyaluronic acid spreads quickly through the tissue.
Treatment schedule and results
We usually recommend three sessions, spaced 14 days apart. The effects build progressively:
- improved hydration
- a finer skin texture
- softened fine lines
- a more even skin tone
- visible freshness and glow
