Hands-on medical training at the highest level – advanced education at the Swiss Derma Clinic under the direction of our lead specialist, Lia Georgouli, MD.

The Swiss Derma Clinic in Zurich regularly offers high-quality training courses in aesthetic medicine, thereby consistently expanding its role as a dedicated medical training center. Recently, an intensive, practice-oriented hyaluronic acid workshop for doctors was held on our premises, led by our head dermatologist, Lia Georgouli, an expert in aesthetic medicine.

The training afternoon was dedicated to modern hyaluronic lifting techniques and was aimed at doctors who would like to expand their knowledge of injection-based aesthetic medicine and deepen their practical skills under professional supervision.

Theory block: sound knowledge as a basis

The workshop began with a structured theoretical module in which Dr. Georgouli conveyed the central content of modern facial modeling and aesthetic dermatology.

The focal points included

  • the most important anatomical structures for safe working
  • Changes in volume and tissue during the ageing process
  • Indications for hyaluron lifting
  • Product selection, technology combinations and safety principles

The theoretical framework was based on internationally established standards of aesthetic medicine and offered the participants a solid foundation for the subsequent practical training.

Live demonstration by Dr. Lia Georgouli

Dr. Georgouli then demonstrated a complete live injection on the model, based on current lifting and volume concepts.

With her characteristic blend of precision, calm and deep anatomical understanding, she demonstrated:

  • How a natural, harmonious hyaluronic lifting is created
  • how different techniques can be sensibly combined depending on the type of face
  • How safety, elegance and effectiveness work together in aesthetic medicine

This live demonstration offered a direct insight into their technique and set the didactic standard for the subsequent practical training.

Hands-on training: learning under personal supervision

The main part of the workshop was the practical work of the participating doctors. Under the personal and close supervision of Dr. Georgouli, the participants were able to apply the techniques taught directly on the model.

You received:

  • Individual instructions for each injection
  • Immediately applicable feedback on technology
  • Support with complex issues
  • Practical tips for optimizing aesthetic results

This hands-on format provides physicians with a safe learning environment that sustainably improves competence, safety and treatment outcomes.

Excellence through medical expertise

Training courses such as this workshop are an essential part of our medical and aesthetic standards. They show how central high-quality medical teaching is to the further development of aesthetic medicine and underline Swiss Derma Clinic’s commitment to consistently expanding its training program.

These ongoing activities are part of our long-term vision to become a recognized training center in dermatology and aesthetic medicine and to provide physicians with a first-class learning environment.
