Applications of Sofwave at Swiss Derma Clinic
The novel synchronized ultrasound parallel beam technology of Sofwave primarily affects the middle skin layers. The ultrasound waves penetrate up to 1.5 millimeters deep into the dermis. The generated heat of about 70 degrees is perfect for stimulating fibroblasts and forming new firm connective tissue. The tissue tightens naturally in this way. An integrated cooling mechanism protects the skin surface during the application. Nerves, blood vessels, or subcutaneous fat tissue are also not affected.

Treatment Procedure
You should allow about 1.5 hours for your Sofwave appointment in Zurich. Before the application, we pre-treat the skin with a numbing cream. This then takes at least half an hour to take effect. The subsequent ultrasound treatment takes about an hour.
The skin surface is not injured! The only visible sign is a shimmering glow. You look fresh and rejuvenated and can immediately return to all your activities and even attend any important event.
Sofwave is an advancement of the HIFU method, where the skin is intensively stimulated point by point. Several cylindrical and extensive stimuli are generated in the tissue. The thermal stimulation activates the fibroblasts to produce more collagen and elastin. This process, known as collagen neogenesis, ensures uniform tightening from within. The results of the treatment last up to two years, after which it can be repeated.
Sofwave is ideal for treating typical sacking (sagging skin like jowls), wrinkles, brow tightening, and nasolabial folds. The application is very gentle. You can return to the office immediately, and outdoor activities are no problem.
