It\u2019s just after eight. In the Kur\u00adsaal Bern, the spot\u00adlights bathe the hall in warm light. The music starts \u2013 and an evening beg\u00adins that twen\u00adty young women have been working towards for months.Right in the midd\u00adle of the action: Dr. Lia Geor\u00adgouli, Medi\u00adcal Direc\u00adtor of the Swiss Der\u00adma Cli\u00adnic. Today she is in the spot\u00adlight, not as a doc\u00adtor, but as co-host of this year\u2019s Miss Uni\u00adver\u00adse Switz\u00ader\u00adland Gala<\/strong>. Sup\u00adport\u00aded by gre\u00adat pre\u00adsen\u00adters and an enthu\u00adsi\u00ada\u00adstic audi\u00adence. And a top-class jury, all experts from sci\u00adence, aes\u00adthe\u00adtics, medi\u00adci\u00adne and indus\u00adtry. The fina\u00adle full of glamor and gre\u00adat emo\u00adti\u00adons has begun.<\/p>\n

From casting to the show stage<\/h2>\n

\u201eThe fina\u00adlists\u2018 path from the first cas\u00adting to the big show stage was also a path of deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment and self-dis\u00adco\u00advery \u2013 and I was allo\u00adwed to accom\u00adpa\u00adny them from the very beginning.
\nFirst as a mem\u00adber of the cas\u00adting jury. In May, we then invi\u00adted the twen\u00adty fina\u00adlists to the Swiss Der\u00adma Cli\u00adnic for the Skin Qua\u00adli\u00adty Mas\u00adter\u00adclass<\/strong> in Zurich. A day that focu\u00adsed on skin\u00adca\u00adre tips, make-up, rege\u00adne\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon and mindful\u00adness. And how to remain authen\u00adtic even in the spot\u00adlight. Our aim was to make the fina\u00adlists\u2018 skin glow. Co-hos\u00adting the final is a very emo\u00adtio\u00adnal expe\u00adri\u00adence for me\u201c <\/em> Lia Geor\u00adgouli, Medi\u00adcal Direc\u00adtor Swiss Der\u00adma Clinic<\/p>\n

The big gala in the Kursaal Bern<\/h2>\n

On Sep\u00adtem\u00adber 27, 2025<\/strong>, the time had come. The stage, the audi\u00adence, the exci\u00adte\u00adment and the cli\u00adcking of the came\u00adras \u2013 it all came tog\u00ade\u00adther to crea\u00adte an evening to remember.Dr. Geor\u00adgouli and her pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adti\u00adon part\u00adner led the audi\u00adence through the pro\u00adgram, accom\u00adpa\u00adnied by music, dancing and a fes\u00adti\u00adve three-cour\u00adse meal. In the audi\u00adence: col\u00adle\u00adagues and very per\u00adso\u00adnal sup\u00adport\u00aders \u2013 abo\u00adve all her fian\u00adc\u00e9 Olaf Reit\u00admai\u00ader<\/strong>, manage\u00adment assistant Ste\u00adfa\u00adnie Beil<\/strong> and employee Ana Vuja\u00adno\u00advic<\/strong>, who was cele\u00adbra\u00adting her bir\u00adth\u00adday that evening.<\/p>\n

After the first rounds and stage per\u00adfor\u00adman\u00adces, it was clear who had made it into the top 10<\/strong>. It was a moment fil\u00adled with applau\u00adse and emo\u00adti\u00adon. A litt\u00adle later, the top 5<\/strong> were announ\u00adced. The ten\u00adsi\u00adon in the hall rose and you could lite\u00adral\u00adly hear a pin drop. And final\u00adly the grand fina\u00adle: the top 3<\/strong> were announced:<\/p>\n

\nEver\u00adyo\u00adne work\u00aded hand in hand: make-up pro\u00adfes\u00adsio\u00adnals, sty\u00adlists and light\u00ading and sound technicians.<\/p>\n

An evening with a lasting impression<\/h2>\n

As the applau\u00adse died away at the end of the evening, a fee\u00adling of gra\u00adti\u00adtu\u00adde remained.
\nFor the encoun\u00adters, the exch\u00adan\u00adge, the trust \u2013 and once again for the rea\u00adliza\u00adti\u00adon that aes\u00adthe\u00adtics and atti\u00adtu\u00adde are not mutual\u00adly exclu\u00adsi\u00adve, but mutual\u00adly reinforcing.<\/p>\n
